Prominent Stettin Farmer Laid to Rest, Friday

Carl Buttke, one of the most prosperous and beloved citizens of the town of Stettin, who died Tuesday, May 20th was laid to rest Friday afternoon in the Trinity Lutheran Church cemetery in the town of Stettin. The Rev. Pilz officiated at the services. Surviving are his widow, two children, Evelyn and Irene, his father, Wm. Buttke, one brother, Fred Buttke, four sisters, Emilie Buttke, Mrs. Fred Seehafer and Mrs. John Lodholz, all of the town of Stettin, and Mrs. Wm. Heise of the town of Rib Fall, and also many other relatives and friends. The pallbearers were: Harry Theis, Henry Hoeppner, Alfred Beilke, Fred Hilmershausen, Fred Mearek and August Erdmann. Flower girls were: Irma Dretzke, Ethel Plisch, Ruth Lodholz, Gertrude Heironimus, Regina Beilke, Florence Mearek; and William Buttke and Ervin Heironimus.
