Rachel Outland Mills Hinshaw--Married twice.
She was the daughter of Thomas Jordan Outland 1813--died after 1885--Thomas Outland appears in 1885 KS census under his daughter's household of Hinshaw, her second marriage. Rachel Outland Mills was married to Tilnias Hinshaw (1833-1911) on March 30, 1876. He is buried in Key West Cemetery, Lebo, Kansas. Rachel Outland's mother was Assenath (Pritchard) Outland 1818-1867. Rachel was the widow of Nathan Mills before 1876 in Vermilion County, Illinois. Her daughter Flora Mills (1871-1961), by Nathan Mills, also appears in Hinshaw census record of 1885.
Rachel Outland Mills Hinshaw's lineage goes back to Virginia and North Carolina Quaker settlements in the 1600s.
