Mrs. Barbara A. Albers, 40, North Star, died Friday at 6:25 p.m. at her home. She had been ailing for the past several years with multiple sclerosis.
She was born May 1, 1938, in Dayton to Ralph and Agnes (Schwieterman) Borgerding, both decreased.
On Feb. 20, 1960, she was married in Burkettsville to Robert J. Albers, who survives with five children, all at home. They are Michael, Wanda, Virginia, Karl and Rose. A daughter, Norma, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a sister and three brothers, Mrs. Dale (Bernice) Klosterman of Montezuma, John Borgerding of Dayton, Joseph Borgerding of St. Henry and Raphael Borgerding of Burkettsville.
A sister preceded her in death.
Also surviving is her mother-in-law, Mrs. Cecelia Albers of St. Henry.
The late Mrs. Albers was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in North Star, the St. Anne's Ladies Sodality of the church, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Maria Stein Knights of St. John. Funeral services are tentatively set for Monday in the St. Louis Catholic Church, with the Rev. Aloysius Boeke officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Arrangements are being made through the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
