Clinton County native dies at 51 Monday in Florida

MRS. VERNA PLOUGHE REDDISH, 51, of Merritt Island, Fla., died at 5 o'clock Monday Morning at Merritt Island, following a three month illness, according to word received by relatives.

She was born in Clinton County on Oct. 27, 1918, the daughter of Preston A. and Bessie Ploughe. She moved from Michigantown to Florida about eight years ago.

Mrs. Reddish is survived by the husband, Cyril Reddish; a son, Donald Reddish; a daughter, Carol Reddish; and a grandson, James, all of Merritt Island; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Preston Ploughe of Kirklin; seven sisters, Mrs. Lois Boone and Mrs. Mary Walker, both of Sheridan, Mrs. Mabel Sotzing and Mrs.Vera King, both of Indianapolis, Mrs. Norma Macis of Buena Park, Calif., Mrs. Dortha Thompson of Frankfort and Miss Margie Ploughe of Kirklin; six brothers, Preston W., James and William Ploughe, all of Scircleville, and Dale, Ralph and Joseph Ploughe, all of Kirklin, and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services for Mrs. Reddish will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Wylie Baxley Funeral Home in Coca, Fla., and burial will be made in a Coca Cemetery.
