Birth: 1869
Pennsylvania, USA
Death: Mar. 21, 1948
Newburgh
Warrick County
Indiana, USA

John was married to Ella Selma Broshears Palmer on November 30, 1905. To this union were born sons William H., David, W.A. and Curtis, and daughters Berniece and Selma May. In addition to raising their own children, they also took in Ella's niece and two nephews, after the death of her sister Effie May Broshears Lynch.

John's original burial place was noted as Newburgh Cemetery, AKA Myrtle Ridge Cemetery. His grave has since been moved to Rose Hill Cemetery in Newburgh. (Many Myrtle Ridge graves were moved to Rose Hill, possibly due to issues with underground mines around the site.)

John was my great-great uncle. My paternal grandfather was one of the nephews raised by John and Ella.
