Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Cole & Maud Mortuary. The funeral there will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Raymond Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mrs. Kirkland was born March 1, 1906 in Plainview, Arkansas. She and her family moved to Casa Grande in 1942 because of her ill health. She was a member of Trinity Southern Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Wilbur and Dennis, both of Casa Grande; five daughters, Billie Burroughs, of Phoenix, Shirley Winberry, of Hesperia, CA, Euda Rainey, of Paris, TX, Mildred Williams, of Hugo, OK, and Sue Seaton, of Houston; a sister, Lessie Crabill, of Decatur, IL; 14 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Sherwood, preceded her in death in 1972.
