Baker, Glessie M., age 85 of Maryville went home to be with the Lord on February 1, 2005.
She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church. She was the wife of loving husband, Leslie Adair Baker, Sr. From her family: She will be forever loved and in our hearts. And will be sadly missed by family and friends. Many thanks to The Dialysis Center, ETHRA Van Drivers, Rural Metro, Adventa Hospice and Home Health Care. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Calvin Miracle and Sarah Melissa (Jones) Miracle; six brothers, one sister, and three great-grandchildren.

Survivors include: husband, Leslie Adair Baker, Sr.; children, Herschell E. Baker, Wanda (Baker) Ridings and her husband Lowell, Barbara (Baker) Dunn and her husband Bill, Leslie A. Baker, Jr. And his wife Cindy, Kenneth W. Baker and his wife Sharon; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brothers, Cecil Miracle and Ralph Miracle; sisters, Mae Baker, Betty Shelton, and Emma Warren.

Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Danny Jenkins, officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in Grandview Cemetery for the interment. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The National Kidney Foundation of East TN, 4450 Walker Blvd., Suite 2, Knoxville, TN 37917-1523.
