LUDIE CURTIS WHITE of Corinth, MS, died on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004 at Mississippi Care Center.

She was a member of Lorraine Baptist Church. She was known to many as "Aunt Ludie", and was known far and wide for her fried peach pies. She and her husband owned White's DX Station for several years and many of her customers became her lifelong friends. She loved her family as only a mother could, and became a second mother to all of her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed quilting, going to church, but most of all she enjoyed talking and being with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Dolmer L. White; a daughter, Faye White Neal; her father, Charlie Curtis; her mother, Chattie Randolph Curtis; three brothers and six sisters.

She is survived by a son, Bobby White and wife, Faye of Corinth, MS; two daughters, Jane Phelps and husband Luther Wayne of Guntown, MS and Brenda Mills and friends Charles Roberts of Tupelo, MS; eleven grandchildren, Dianne Baldwin, Martha Durbin, Jimmy White, Deborah Steen, Randy White, Dewayne White, Bobby L. White, Timothy White, Pam McCaleb, Susan Mills, and Misty Stanford; three step-grandchildren, Dale Fulks, Terrry Fulks, and Marita Hood; twenty-one gr-grandchildren; and eleven gr-gr-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Pat White; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on Fri., Oct. 15th at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Allen Milam and Bro. Taft Nethery officiating. Burial followed at Lorraine Cemetery in Guys.

Ludie White

Corinth - Ludie White, 88, former owner of White's DX Station, died Tuesday at Mississippi Care Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Magnolia Funeral Home with burial in Lorraine Cemetery in Guys, Tenn.


She was a member of Lorraine Baptist Church. Mrs. White, the widow of Dolmer White, leaves two daughters, Jane Phelps of Guntown and Brenda Mills of Tupelo; a son, Bobby White of Corinth, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
