ARTHUR ALBIN SHINN
Memorial services for Arthur Albin Shinn were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, 1972 at the Wherry Chapel in Pawnee City with Rev. Ward Merritt officiating. Mr. Shinn passed away at his home in DuBois July 23, 1972.

Members of the ZCBJ Lodge served as pallbearers and interment was in the cemetery at DuBois.

Arthur was born August 6, 1905 in Pawnee County, near Pawnee City, a son of Marie Mary and Frank Shinn. He grew to manhood in that area. He was a blacksmith and welder and went to Eureke, Calif., where he was employed by the Pacific Lumber Company. He retired August 3, 1970 and moved to DuBois in October of 1971.

Mr. Shinn was a member of the Western ZCBJ Fraternal Life Association of DuBois.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Jennie Triska of Glendale, Calif.; nieces and nephews, Mrs. George (Evelyn) Brooks of Scotsdale, Ariz., Mrs. Ray (Laurene) Johnson of North Hollywood, Calif., Raymond Triska of Buckeye, Ariz., Robert Triska of Azusa, Calif., Mrs. Arthur (Velma) Irwin of Council Bluffs, Ia., Lawrence Jaros and Mrs. Elmer (Evelyn) Rist of Humboldt; many grand nieces and grand nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father and an infant brother, Edwin, a sister, Mrs. Henry Jaros, and a niece, Mrs. Glen (Alma) Blecha.
