Professional Football Player. Born James Milligan Wilson, he played in the National Football League as an offensive lineman for seven seasons 1965 to 1971, with the San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Rams. An All-America from the University of Georgia, he was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 1964 and voted to the All-NFL Rookie Team in 1965. After his football career, he became a professional wrestler and helped establish a union to improve labor conditions within sport. He was inducted into the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame in 2001, the UGA Circle of Honor in 2005 and voted to the 75th Anniversary All Sun Bowl Team in 2008. Cause of death: cancer.
