Minnie C. Shearer
HANOVER – Minnie C. Shearer, 84, formerly of Jefferson, entered into God's eternal care on Saturday morning, November 12, 2005, at the Hanover Hospital. Minnie was the loving wife of Clayton H. Shearer, who died in 1964.
Born February 1, 1921, in York County, she was the daughter of the late Franklin C. and Daisy S. (Nace) Albright.
Minnie is survived by three daughters, Dolores H. Snyder of Littlestown, Darlene M. Masimore of Glen Rock, and Jean L. Riddle of Hanover; four sons, Laverne C. Shearer of Manchester, Samuel F. Shearer of Mechanicsburg, Ray A. Shearer Sr. of York, and Wayne M. Shearer of Hanover, 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Stewart Albright of Spring Grove and Albert Albright of Glen Rock; and one sister, Dorothy Smith of York.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6 York St., Codorus, with the Rev. Patricia Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Cemetery.
