Her friend Carla tried to move her, but Claudia was struck by a bullet in the chest. Claudia Rutt died wearing Sonntag's ring on a chain around her neck."
She was survived by her parents Melvin Rutt and Diane Labowitz Rutt and her sister Mary Anne Rutt.
