Ben Marvin Cross, 73, of Colcord, Oklahoma, died February 2, 2009, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Born September 7, 1935 in Frogville, Oklahoma, he was the son of Charles Polk Cross and Harriet Eliza Oakes Cross. He moved to Colcord in 1973 from Catoosa, Oklahoma. He was a dairy farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Dana Cross; three brothers, Beau Cross, Renza Cross and Polk Cross.
Survivors include four sons, Dallas Cross, Travis Cross, Waco Cross and wife Lesa, all of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, ad Cody Cross of Adair County, Oklahoma; two daughters, Donna Smith and husband Kent of Grove, Oklahoma, Toni Shelley of Watts, Oklahoma; four sisters, Mary Baxter, Nita Cross, Ann Kilpatrick, Sue Wilson and husband Charlie; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 7, 2009, at Calvary Baptist Church, West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma, with Mr. Larry Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery, West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma.
