Palmer, Laura (nee Walden), of High Ridge, Missouri, was born February 1, 1932, in Royalton, Illinois, to Lawrence G. and Ruby M. (nee Stidd) Walden, and entered into rest, Saturday, February 25, 2006, at the age of 74 years 24 days. She is preceded in death by her parents, one (1) brother Larry J. Walden and one (1) sister, Louise Zuppigher,
She is survived by her husband, Ernest Palmer, of High Ridge, Missouri, (Married June 16, 1951, in St. Louis, Missouri), three (3) children, Tony (Brenda) Palmer of House Springs, Missouri, Dan L. (Donna) Palmer of High Ridge, Missouri and Patti Woodland of High Ridge, Missouri, eleven (11) grandchildren, Dawn Untch, DeAnn Palmer, Danny Palmer, Bryan Palmer, Dana Duncan, Tommy Woodland, Christopher Woodland, Heather DeLong, Doug DeLong, Scott Palmer, and Marlana Colvett, two (2) great grandchildren, Matthew Woodland and Rylan Palmer, four (4) siblings, Ralph Walden, Ruth Ann Hoffmeister, Janet Capps, and Kathy Prichett and many other relatives and friends.
Laura taught Sunday School for over 20 years at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in High Ridge, Missouri. She loved playing bingo. Laura enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation Monday, February 27, 2006, 5-9 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 1817 Old Gravois Road, High Ridge, Missouri 63049. Funeral Mass Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 3009 High Ridge Boulevard, High Ridge, Missouri 63049. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
