Norman "Norm" Keith passed away at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, August 2, 2008. Norm was born December 23rd, 1929 in Danbury, NE and moved to Grand Junction, CO in 1965. He worked as a mechanic and machine operator for the Grand Junction Drainage District until he retired in 1993. Norm is survived by his wife of 18 years, Bonnie F. Keith and three step-children, Tanja Powers of Clifton; Rocky Patterson of Evergreen, CO and Daleen Brown of Grand Junction; three grandchildren and one great grandchild, six of seven sisters and one brother. Norm enjoyed rock hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, camping, gardening and tinkering around the garage. Norman was loved by all he met and brought joy to many. Graveside services will be held at Grand Junction Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, the 6th of August at 10:00 a.m. All friends and family are invited to join for the celebration of Norm's life. Snell-McLean Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Norman Ray Keith passed away at Veterans Memorial HOspital in Grand Junction, Colorado on August 01, 2008 at the age of 78.
Norman was bortn December 23, 1929, near Danbury, Red Willow County, Nebraska, to Clarence HIlton and Anna Catherine (Farber) Keith. He was raised on the farm near Danbury and in Thatcher, Colorado and then back to Danbury, Nebraska. He graduated from Danbury Consolated School.
Norman served in the United States Army dury the Korean War.
Norman moved to Grand Junction, Colorado in 1965 and worked as a mechanic and machine operator for the Grand Junction Drainage District wntil retirement in 1993. When he was living in Danbury he worked as a mechanic at Bob Grosseman's garage.
Norman married Nancy Thomas in 1951, Betty Peters Post in 1957, Bonnie Patterson in 1969, Betty Lou Workman in 1977 and Bonnie Patterson on August 04 1990.
Norman and Bonnie loved to go fishing, camping, rock hunting, and he lovedto go four-wheeling and work in the garden.
Survivors include his wife Bonnie of the home, Step children, Tanja Powers of Clifton, Colorado, Rocky Patterson of Evergreen, Colorado, and Daleen Brown of Grand Junction, Colorado. Six sisters, LeArdis Frerichs of Lexington, Nebraska, Noreen and husband Glen Jumps of McCook, Nebraska, Le Verna Petersen of Grand Island, Nebraska, Anita and husband Edward Surber of Bainbridge, Indiana, Jackie Miller of Grand Island, Nebraska, Delores and Husband Emery Kathka of McCook, Nebraska, one brother Jimmy and wife Jeannene Keith of Phoenix, Arizona, brother-in-law HOward Kenfield of Ogallala, Nebraska, three step grand children and one great-grandchild, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preced in death by his parents Clarence and Anna, two infant brothers, Richard Dale and Gerald Delmar, infant sister, donna Rose, and sister Glenva Kenfield of Ogallala, Nebraska, brother-in-laws, Johnnie Miller of Grand Island, Nebraska, Elmer Frereichs of Lexington, Nebraska a nephew, niece and great nephew.
Norman was loved by many and brought joy and happiness to many.
Graveside services were at Grand Junction Memorial Gardens on August 06, 2008.
