Irl Baker, 78, Ozawkie, Dies.
Ozawkie--Irl BAKER, 78, died Friday at his home here.
He was born Sept. 20, 1886 near Ozawkie and spent all his life in the Ozawkie community.
He was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church at Ozawkie. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maggie Baker, of the home; four daughters, Mrs. M.E. EVANS, 2117 Van Buren, Topeka, Mrs. Ray BREY, Whiting, Mrs. E. Wayne BRUNTON, Raytown, Mo., and Mrs. Dorothy GERBER, 115 N. Elmwood, Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. Effie MARKER, 1613 Boswell, Topeka, and Mrs. Edith WHITE, Lawrence; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the EUB Church at Ozawkie with burial in Ozawkie Cemetery.
Hampton Funeral Home at Oskaloosa is in charge of arrangements.
