Lived in Tecumseh for a Number of Years.
Mrs. Anna Mary Holmes died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Emma Dinwiddie, at Arvada, Colo., Monday, March 8, following a period of failing health from last November and a final sickness of three weeks. Funeral services were held at Arvada, Tuesday, and the daughter brought the remains to Tecumseh for interment in the family lot in the cemetery here, Mra. Dinwiddie being accompanied to-this city by her sister, Miss Georgia Holmes of Hastings. Aana Mary Dunaway was born in Greensburg, Pa., and was aged seventy-seven years. Her parents moved from Pennsylvania to Illinois when she was young. She was married to John . J. Holmes, at' Virginia, Ills., in 1863 and something like thirty eight years ago the family the family located at Tecumseh. Mr. Holmes has been deceased for many years, and the parents are survived by eight daughters and, two sons, who live in a number of states. While a resident of Tecumseh Mrs Holmes was a member of the Universalist church here. The daughters reached Tecumseh with the remains of their- mother, Wednesday. .afternoon and. Were met at the station by their friends. Rev. W. H. Cooper, pastor -of the Presbyterian church, conducted a brief ceremony at the grave.
