CONWAY - Gene Crosby Milligan , 62, of S.C. 905, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2000, at Conway Hospital after an illness.
He was born in Horry County, a son of Vassie L. and Mary E. Lewis Milligan .
Survivors, in addition to his parents of Conway, include his wife, Jo Ann Martin Milligan ; three daughters, Dorothy Martin and her husband, Milton, of Sicily, Italy, Julie M. Collins and her husband, Michael, of Nichols, Mary C. Milligan of Conway; two brothers, Roger Milligan of Minnesota and Vassie Milligan Jr. of Conway; eight sisters, Jerley Collins, Naomi Cathey and Berlene Chestnut, all of Conway, Sue Black of Spartanburg, Avis Stewart of Salem, N.C., Jackie Johnson of Sellers, Frances Smith of Greenville and Nell Ercoline of Illinois; six grandchildren, Charles Martin, Christine Martin, Seth Michael Collins, Skylar Brent Collins, Logan Grimsley and Gavin Grimsley.
He was predeceased by a brother, Jack Daniel Milligan .
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway chapel.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
