MRS. CERETA BAKER
SHALLOTTE- Mrs Cereta Baker, of Route 2, Supply, died Saturday in Brunswick County Hospital after a long illness.
Surviving are her husband Robert D Baker of the home; a daughter, Mrs Lisa Smith Varnam of Varnamtown; two sons, Eugene D. Smith of Shallotte point and Burton Lynn Smith of the home; her mother Mrs Ava Ludlum Dixon of Varnamtown; four sister, Maudeline Varnam of Varnamtown; Mrs Myrtie Neill Moore of Currie, Mrs Shirley D. Little of Whiteville and Elsie Mae Deal of Burgaw; four brothers, Tennis Dixon and Gerald Dixon, both of Varnamtown, Aton Dixon of Wilmington and Clyde Dixon of Holden Beach; and two grandsons, Willie H Varnam of Varnamtown Adams Donald Smith of Shallotte Point.
Funeral serices will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Dixon Chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. Tracy Varnum and the Rev. R.C. Dixon officiating. Burial will be in the Church cemetery. A Powell service.
