Updated information May 2, 2013 from Annette, a descendent of Lizzie's brother "William Henry Sommers". Lizzie arrived in New York on 15 March 1869 on the Ship "Inca" from Bremen, Germany with her family. Her parents are Friedrich "Fred" Sommer and Sophia Gassert. Fred's parents were Christoph Sommer and Charlotte Hoehler. Sophia's parents were Peter Heinrich Gassert and Katharina Frey. Most of Lizzie's family lived in Allegheny, PA. I have a tree on Ancestry "Cyford-Sommers Family Trees and some information can be found on "Family Search.com".
