Messrs. Harmon & Still have bought out the stock of Messrs. Hart & Orr, at Marcoot, and consolidated the two stores. This gives them a very large stock of shoes, notions, groceries, etc., and places them in position to offer bargains for cash. This is an enterprising firm, and they will always carry an up-to-date line of goods.

FUNERAL HELD TUEDAY FOR MR. W. A. HARMON, AGE 81.

Mr. W. A. (Allie) Harmon, age 81, of the White Plains community, passed away at the home of his daughter August 14. He had been in failing health for several years, but seriously ill only three days.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 15, at 3:30 p.m. from the Macedonia Church with Elder J. W. Harmon, Rev. C. C. Sanders and Rev. C. E. Kaylor officiating. Interment was in the Macedonia Cemetery with Johnson & Sanders Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Harmon was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church at Macedonia.
Surviving are one son, M. L. Harmon, Five Points; one daughter, Mrs. J. F. Tomlinson, White Plains; three sisters, Mrs. Susie Christian and Mrs. Mattie Smith of Marcoot, and Mrs. Tom House of Five Points; three brothers, Elder J. W. Harmon, Fairfax, W. L. Harmon, Union Hill, and H. J. Harmon, Marcoot; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Hal Finney, William House, Harvey Sharpe, Wyatt Daniel, Glenn Mickle and Percy Slayton.
