COOK, Mrs. Laura of Solano, NM. Age 97. Died 2/14/1985. Services were held in New Mexico. She was BORN 11/25/1888. Lovingly called "Aunt Laura" by both relatives and friends, she made her last visit to Thorndale in 9/1984 to attend the Thorndale ex-students Homecoming. She especially wanted to attend because her late son, Thelbert, had graduated from Thorndale High. She was using a walker to get around, but that did not daunt her spirits. Preceded in death by her husband and 2 children, Thelbert and Alpha. The family lived in Thorndale many years but returned to New Mexico where they owned ranch land. SS Death Benefit on #525-24-8387.
