Daniel Arrell (Dan) Caison, 68, died Sunday night at his residence in the Mill Creek Community near Winnabow.
Funeral services will be 2 p m Wednesday at Mill Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Alton Bridges and Rev. William Dietz.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs Ruth Simmons Caison; a son, Daniel Glenn Caison, Hampton, Va., two daughters, Mrs. Q R. (Kathleen) Holden and Mrs. R.P (Patsy) Robinson, both of Supply and eleven grand children.
A native of Brunswick County he was born Oct. 16, 1903, the son of the late Samuel Caison and Alice Outlaw Caison. A retired farmer and butcher, he was formerly the manager of the Wilmington City Market. He was a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Michael G, J. Bruce Caison, Q Arrell Holden and Randy A., Rickie L, and Robert K Robinson.
The family will be at Coble's Oleander Chapel 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation will be at the funeral home until 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
