Evelyn Elsie LeVasseur, age 89 of International Falls, Minnesota died on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at the Littlefork Care Center.
She was born on March 3, 1919 at Mountain Lake, MN. She moved to the Int'l Falls area in 1953.
She worked at the Red Owl and Tee-Pee Motel and enjoyed quilting and embroidery work.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Rosina Brandt, husbands, John Hiebert and Earl LeVasseur, sister, Amanda Junker, brother, Edwin "Bud" Junker, son, Junior John "Smiley" Hiebert, grandchildren, Tammy Edberg and Cory Leseman, great-grandchildren, Michael James Christie and Jennifer Kleis.
Survivors include children, Leland (Nancy) Hiebert, Roseann (James) Leseman, Diane (Michael) Kleis all of Int'l Falls, and Virginia (Jack) Edberg of Warroad, MN, 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral services on Monday, January 26, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Green-Larsen Mortuary.
Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
