Lewis Rex Allum, called "Rex" -- son of John Banks Allum and Rosanna "Rosa" Farley -- died from typhoid in Minnesota in 1908 at the age of 30 years. He is buried on the northeast corner of his parents' plot but without a marker or inscription on the tall monument shared by his mother and infant brother.
