Rickey Gene Riddle, 54, passed away Jan. 20, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
He was born Aug. 25, 1954, in Gaston County, son of Gene L. Riddle of Belmont and the late Lillian Meeks.
In addition to his father he is survived by sons, Gene and Johnathan of Gastonia; brother, Donnie Riddle of Belmont; sister, Sandra McAndrew of York, S.C.; two grandchildren
and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a stepmother Virginia Riddle; grandparents, Sam and Stella Riddle.
Mr. Riddle attended West Franklin Baptist Church, Gastonia.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Greene Funeral Service,South Chapel in Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Steven Blanton. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
Visitation will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
