Mary A. Rossman, of Carrollton Township, Michigan, passed away December 20, 2008 at St. Francis Home at age 100 years.
The daughter of the late Peter and Martha (Kotenko) Chalenko, Mary Chalenko was born March 29, 1908 in Russia, coming to Saginaw in 1911.
Mary Chalenko married Jack Tany in 1927. He predeceased her in 1933.
Mary Tany married David Anklam. He predeceased her.
Mary Anklam then married Clarence Rossman. He predeceased her.
Mary was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the St. Anne Society and the Carrollton Senior Citizens. She was employed by the Saginaw Board of Education in maintenance for 15 years until her retirement in 1972. Mary was a very loving mother who took wonderful care of her children.
Surviving were two daughters, five sons and step-sons, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral: The Snow Funeral Home. Sister Christine Gretka, CSJ, officiated with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery
