Professional Football Player. He played at the defensive tackle and defensive end positions for ten seasons (1992 to 2001) in the National Football League with the Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons. He was a member of the Falcons' team that reached Super Bowl XXXIII in 1999. He achieved All-American status during his collegiate years at the University of Texas and was chosen by the Broncos in the 2nd round of the 1992 NFL Draft. Dronett appeared in 139 career regular season games and recorded 44 sacks. He took his own life as a result of suffering from Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (a condition known to effect former football players).
