John T Stickles Sr, 76, of Clearbrook, died Tuesday in Winchester Medical Center. Mr. Stickles was born May 13, 1909, in Frederick County, the son of Charles and Ella Smallwood Sickles, He was retired from Moor and Dorsey Orchard. He was a member of Welltown United Methodist Church and Clearbrook Volunteer Fire Company.
He was married to Elam Broy. Surviving are a son, John T Stickles Jr. of Clearbrook; two sisters, Mary Naylor of Summit Point, W VA and Ida Jones of Sarasota, Fla.; two granddaughters and two great grand daughters.
A funeral will be at 11 AM Thursday at Enders Funeral Home, Berryville with the Rev. Timothy W Kidd. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville. Pallbearers will be Giovanni Lasazzera, Keith Funkhouser, David Moulden, Warren Snapp, William Good, Jospeh Godlove, George Seal and James Morrison.
