BILLY GRAY BILBREY
Funeral services for Mr. Billy Gray Bilbrey, 74, of Livingston, were conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.
Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Donald Cobb officiating.
Mr. Bilbrey died Thursday, May 6 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was an employee of Speck Funeral Home, a member of Livingston First Baptist Church, and a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Born February 15, 1930, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Walter E. and Lucy (Crabtree) Bilbrey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Clyde Bilbrey, Joe Bilbrey, and Ray Bilbrey; and two sisters, Pauline Palmer and Mertie Lessig.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Bilbrey of Livingston; four sons, Larry Bilbrey and Mark Bilbrey, both of Sparta, and Kent Bilbrey and Roger Bilbrey, both of Livingston; a daughter, June Bilbrey of Livingston; two brothers, John Bilbrey of Cookeville and James Bilbrey of Calumet City, IL; 15 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Michael Garrett, Shawn Bilbrey, Dustin Bilbrey, Timmy Bilbrey, George Sells, Jeff Hammock, David England, and Joey Sholtz.
