Actor. He appeared in the TV series "Lost in Space" playing the Robinson family's loyal robot. Although he did not provide the robot's distinctive voice (announcer Dick Tufeld did), he developed a following of fans who sought him out at memorabilia shows. He also appeared in numerous films and TV shows such as "The Time Tunnel," "McHale's Navy" and "The Red Skelton Show." He was the grandson of entertainer Chic Johnson.
