Father of H.G. Shafer Died Tuesday at Ohio Home

D.T. [sic] Shafer, father of H.G. Shafer, for many years engaged in the lumber business here, and grandfather of Mrs. C. C. Delphey and D.C. McAuley of this city, passed away at his home in Mt. Ephraim, Ohio, on Tuesday. Mr. Shafer was 88 years of age last month. H.G. Shafer went east about a month ago and was at the bedside of his father when the end came.
