Lorraine Kofoed
POCATELLO – Lorraine Kofoed, 62, died Sunday, January 24, 1999 at a local hospital.
She was born September 20, 1936 at Buffalo, Wyoming, where she spent her early years, and graduated from high school, and attended college at Charden, Nebraska.
She married Clyde B. Kofoed on March 31, 1961 in Casper, Wyoming.
She held various secretarial jobs, with her last one being with ISU Biology Department.
She was a member of the Catholic Church. She enjoyed writing poetry, songs, reading, music (country western), and helped with the Humane Society.
She is survived by her husband, Clyde; two sons; mother, Helen Clark and stepfather, Ray Clark, Buffalo, Wyoming; stepbrother, Ray Clark Jr., Buffalo, Wyoming. She was preceded in death by her father, Willis Snelling.
Vigil will be held tonight, January 27, 1999 at 6 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. Fourth Ave. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 28, 1999 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, located at 820 W. Chubbuck Road. The Rev. Jim Rodenspiel will be presiding. Cremation will follow the services. Arrangements are under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home.
