Funeral services for Clyde Gibson Yeary, 87, of Wagoner, were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Immanuel Baptist Church, Wagoner. Officiating was Rev. Willie Rice.
Born January 2, 1903, in Lee County, Virginia to Henry Bascom and Flora (Speaks) Yeary, Mr. Yeary died Saturday in Wagoner. He was a longtime resident of this area, having moved here in 1910. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Bernice Haskins and Lorene Cobb, both of Redding, California; two sons, Fred Yeary of Wagoner and Johnny Yeary of Owasso; two sisters, Pat Vostal of Miami, Florida and Lee Parry of Redding, California; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Flossie, in July, 1959.
Casket bearers were Ray Ferguson, Bill Haskins, Bill Cobb, Bob Cobb, Frank Edwards and Thurman Pelt.
Honorary bearers were Jack Wassom and Seth Jenkins. Interment was in Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner, directed by Mallett Funeral Home in Wagoner.
