Frank Kusy was born December
26, 1857 in Chrudem, Bohemia,
Belleville on September 30, 1939
at the age of 81 years, 9 months
and 4 days.
In the year 1877 he came to this
country with his parents and two
sisters and located near Hanover
in Washington county.
In 1892 he was united in marriage
to Anna Sedlacek, who preceded him
in death in 1899.
To this union three children were born
Mrs. Frances Hernik of Council Grove,
Joseph Kusy of Minnesota, and Mrs.
Rose Lahodny of Narka.
He remarried May 9, 1900, to Katie
Strumfa, and to this union three children
were born, Mrs. Olive Gray of St. Louis,
Mo., Frank Kusy of Clifton and Mrs.
Bertha Wang of Bridgeport, Tex.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his
children and 9 grandchildren, many other
relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were conducted at 2
o'clock Monday afternoon from the Lahodny
Funeral home, by the Rev. P. O. Davis
of the Christian church. Interment was
made in the Tabor cemetery.
