PAULDING – Ursula C. Hoste, 87, of Paulding, died Monday, Sept. 8 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born on Sept. 30, 1920, in Forest, Ohio, the daughter of John and Mary "Molly" (Tuohy) Clark. On Dec. 7, 1946, she married William Tope, who died May 30, 1971. On Feb. 12, 1977, she married George Hoste, who died March 1, 2002. She was a homemaker and a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, Paulding VFW Auxiliary, and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Surviving are two daughters, Beverly Bercaw and Leann Moser, both of Paulding; a son, William (Karen) Tope of Greenfield, Ind.; two stepdaughters, Linda (Fran) Rhoad of Cecil and Nancy (Tom) Patterson of Butler, Ind.; a sister, Eleanor Justinger of Paulding; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and four great-stepgrandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were two sisters and four brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11 at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, Paulding, with the Rev. G. Allan Fillman officiating. Calling will be held one hour prior to Mass. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Paulding.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today, Sept. 10, at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, with a vigil service at 8 p.m.
The family requests donations for Masses or Paulding County Hospital Home Health.
