Cora May Grass Dies At Home
Mrs. Cora May Grass, a resident of Nampa since 1904, died at her home 1615 First street south, Wednesday afternoon following an extended illness.
Mrs. Grass was born July 19, 1869 in Redwing, Minn. She was married to Edward George Grass, June 16, 1888 at Fergus Falls, Minn. The couple came to Nampa in 1904 and Mrs. Grass has resided here since that time. Mr. Grass died in 1924.
Surviving are six sons, Anthony Leeson Grass of Payette; George Clifford Grass of Twin Falls, Leroy Grass of Terre Haute, Ind., Thomas Allen Grass of Nampa, Robert Frank Grass and Lesley Jefferson Grass, both of Portland; and a brother, John Leeson of Los Angeles.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Robinson funeral chapel with Dr. C. M. Donaldson officiating. Dr. Donaldson will be assisted by the Rev. LeRoy Walker. Interment will be in Kohlerlawn cemetery. Services at the grave will be conducted by the Women's Relief Corps.
