Mrs. Sidney Jane (Jennie) Conroy, aged 69 years, widow of Thomas J. Conroy, died in the Almira Home today at 3 a.m. following an illness of about a year's duration. Mrs. Conroy was born in Isle, Butler County, on March 13, 1869, the daughter of J.C. and Mary Jane McCandless Stoughton. She passed practically all of her life in New Castle; for the past year and a half she lived in the Almira Home. She was a member of the Third U.P. Church, the Ladies of the Maccabet's and W.B.A. Surviving are two sons, Lester Wimer of New Castle and Lowry Wimer of Slippery Rock, one brother Solomon Stoughton of Slippery Rock, one granddaughter, Mrs. Blanche Seamans of Ellwood City and a great grandson, Stanley Seamans of Ellwood City. Funeral services will take place at 1 o'clock, Wednesday afternoon from the Almira Home with Rev. Chester T.R. Yeates, of the Third U.P. Church in charge. Interment will be in Mt. Zion cemetery, Butler County.
