Carmela Bruno Falsone
BIGGS, CALIF. Carmela Bruno Falsone, 86, died on Nov. 23, 1987 at the Oroville Hospital in Oroville, Calif, following a short illness.
She was born in Castle Gate, Utah, on March 30, 1901 and lived in Price for several years until moving to Biggs, Calif, in 1947. She was a homemaker most of her adult life. She was preceeded in death by her husband, John Falsone, who died in 1975; a son, Ernest Bruno, who was killed in action during the Battle of the Bulge, in World War II; a daughter, Betty Stanton, who died in 1978; and a brother Anthony Pagano, who died in the early 1980s.
She is survived by two daughters, Rosemarie Holmes of Marysville, Calif, and Beverly Bennett of Burley, Idaho; four sons, Michael Bruno of Sandy; Leonard and Jessie Bruno, both of Salt Lake City; and Felix Bruno of Price; three sisters, Emily Wood and Marie Voss, both of Salt Lake City, and Josephine Allred of Mount Pleasant; one brother, Gaitano Pagano of Price; 15 grandchildren, 19 greatgrandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, Nov. 17, at the Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel, Gridley, Calif, and followed by burial at the Gridley-Biggs District Cemetery, Gridley, Calif.

Services for Carmela Bruno Falsone, 86, Biggs, are to be held Friday at 2 PM at the Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel Robert and Nell Holmes of Sutter Methodist Church Sutter will officiate. Burial will follow at the Gridley-Biggs District Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday from 1 to 5 PM at Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.
Falsone died Monday, Nov. 23, 1987, at Oroville Hospital, after a short illness.
