Mr. Christopher Aaron "Mack" Horton, age 64, of Richlands, Virginia was born November 30, 1943 in the Pine Creek Section of Russell County, Virginia passed from this life surrounded by his loving wife and family at Tazewell Community Hospital, Tazewell, Virginia, Sunday, September 21, 2008.

He was the son of the late Rev. Grat Marvin & Chorilda Ann Whited Horton.

He Was Preceded In Death by His Maternal Grandparents, Preston Fipps and Eunice England Elkins Whited;

His Paternal Grandparents, Christopher Mays and Grace Chambers Horton; Sister, Thelma Horton Osborne;

Mother-In-Law, Goldie Cole Breeding; Sister-In-Law, Virginia Renie Crigger Horton; and Brother-In-Laws, John Cordle Jr. & Danny Lee Roberts.

He Was A Former Employee Of Mattie Williams Hospital & Clinch Valley Clinic Hospital. He Was A Disabled Employee Of S&S Machinery Corporation and was a Member Of The Richlands Tabernacle.

He Was An Avid Outdoors Man Who Especially Loved To Fish & Hunt and he enjoyed Woodworking In His Workshop.

Funeral services for Christopher Aaron Mack Horton will be conducted Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 1:00pm at the Richlands Tabernacle with the Rev. Ralph Horton and Rev. Bob Osborne officiating.

Entombment will follow at the Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum at Claypool Hill, Virginia.

Friends may call at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home after 6:00pm Tuesday evening at Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia and at the Richlands Tabernacle Church Wednesday, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral.
