Clyde Hazel Boyd is the daughter of John H. Boyd and Verder Boyd (nee Belote). She married Harry Edward Himes, Sr.

Mrs. Clyde Himes
Mrs. Clyde Hazel Boyd Himes, 76, of 1120 E. 36th St. died Sunday at Candler General Hospital after a short illness.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, was a past president of the Women`s Christian Fellowship and a member of Emma Salter Sunday School class.
She was also past president of the Olive Branch Division 265 of the Grand International Auxiliary for the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. She served as chaplain, marshal and held other offices with that group.
Surviving are two sons, Harry Edward Himes Jr. of Savannah and Fred E. Himes of Ridgefield, Conn.; two brothers, B. Eric Boyd of Savannah and Capt. Marion E. Boyd of Wilmington Island; three sisters, Mrs. Bernice Smith of Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Doris E. Blackwell of Winder and Mrs. Cora Lee Brittingham of Savannah; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Home, with burial in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
