Mrs. Nelda Bender
Funeral services for Mrs. Nelda Bender, 88, widow of Jacob Bender, died Thursday night at her home, 401 Cumberland Street, were held this morning at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with requiem mass celebrated by the pastor, Rev. Father Boniface, O.M. Cap. Rev. John A. Smith, of St. Barnardine's Church, Baltimore, was in the Sanctuary. Interment was in the church cemetery.
The pallbearers, grandchildren of Mrs. Bender, were Paul, George E. and Arthur Hartman, John Bender Jr. and Randolph and Alpheus Bender Jr.
Among the attending were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bender and Miss Mary Bender, Hollidaysburg, Pa., and Mrs. Mary McKenzie and Mrs. Anna Hurley, Meyersdale, Pa.
