Elizabeth Dian "Hanner" Cook Glover, 68, died Thursday (January 8, 2009) at her residence in North Fort Myers, FL after a lengthy illness.
She was a native of Atkinson County but grew up and resided most of her life in
Millwood. She was the wife of the late David Julian Glover, Sr. and was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron Moore Cook and Ada Lee Bennett Cook; a sister, Dorothy Jean Bennett; a brother, Bryant Harrell, Jr. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.
The survivors include two daughters, Christina Lee Glover of Ft. Myers, FL and Sharlee Marie Glover Walker (husband Patrick) of North Port, FL; two sons, William P. Glover, II (wife Nancy) of North Fort Myers, FL and David Julian Glover, Jr. (wife Linda) of Ft. Myers, FL.; ten grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; three sisters, Tressa Musgrove of Millwood, Reba Faye Reed (husband Ben) of Jacksonville, FL and Sylvia Woodard (husband Howard) of Waycross; special friend, John Ricketson; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday (January 17, 2009) at Music Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1to 2 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
