GEORGE J. COET
Graveside services and interment for George J. Coet were conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2001 at the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Rock Springs. The Rev. John Savio officiated.
Coet, 81, of 1120 N. Front St., Reliance, died on Sunday, July 1, 2001, at the Sage View Care Center.
Coet had been a resident of Reliance since 1964.
He was born on Dec. 6, 1919 in Auburn, Ill., the son of the late Charlemagne and Louisa Mouriex Coet. He attended schools in Ziggler, Ill.
He married LaVOnne E. Samansky in Lafayette, Colo. on July 6, 1940. She preceded him in death.
Coet worked as an operator at FMC until his retirement in 1978.
He was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Parish.
Coet is survived by one sister, Georgette Legross of Louisville, Colo.; one granddaughter, Jeannine Marletti of Costa Mesa, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; nine brothers; and daughter, Donna Bertoch.
