I don't know what happened to AJ's headstone but this was the only way we could get a photo of it.

A.J. Gardner married Matilda on 20 Jun 1880. Matilda passed away in 1909 and, on 1 Jul 1914, A.J. Gardner married Hannah T. (Hargis) Foster, daughter of Samuel T. Hargis and Mary Lucinda (Sharp) Hargis. Hannah passed away prior to Andrew. In the 12 Apr 1940 Census, Andrew is widowed and living with his daughter Nora (Gardner) Kagley at Carpenters Campground, Blount Co., TN (Mountain Rd).
