Funeral services for Lydia C. Clark, 83, of 676 Ahsay Ave., were held Tuesday, Sept. 9, at the Vase Funeral Chapel. The Bishop Kevin Rarick of the LDS Church officiated.
Interment was in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens and pallbearers were Jon Doak, Mike Doak, Dennis Kessner, Danny B. Saimetz, Steven Shassetz and Mark Shassetz. Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Clark, Roger Clark and Bobbie Johnson.
Mrs. Clark died shortly after being admitted to Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County Sept. 5.
She was born in Spanish Fork, Utah on Feb. 1, 1897, the daughter of the late Alma and Anna Christine Davis Barney. She attended school in Provo, Utah. She was married to William Clark, who preceded her in death in 1956. She moved to Superior in 1928 to make her home and had been a Rock Springs resident for the past 28 years.
Mrs. Clark died following a lengthy illness.
Survivors include one son, Gene of Rock Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Arlene) Pecolar of Springville, Utah and Edith Clark of Rock Springs; one brother, Clarence Barney of Provo, Utah; three sisters, Florence Elliott of Salt Lake City, Utah; Laura Burr and Edith Carter, both of Provo, Utah; 14 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by two daughters, Sylvia Demas and Esther Shassetz and two brothers, Elmer and Floyd, who died in infancy.
