Elsie M. Weaver, 76, of Convoy, died at 5:50 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2009, at Convoy Care Center.
She was born May 15, 1932, in Monroeville, Ind., the daughter of the late Lyman V. "Cub" and Hazel (Krick) Hart. On May 5, 1951, she married Robert E. Weaver, who survives.
Other survivors include three children, Bonnie (Jacob) Delgado, Connie (Jose) Martinez and Patti Gutierrez, all of Van Wert; two sisters, Dorothy Eibling and Marvene (Paul) Bower, both of Fort Wayne, Ind.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A brother, Delbert "Cub" Hart and one sister, Velma Bacon, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 8, at Gearhart, Mack & Jurczyk Funeral Home in Convoy, with the Rev. Ed Gebert officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, at the funeral home.
