Betty came to this area as a young girl and was a member of the Glenpool High School graduating class of 1960. She worked over 30 years for St. Francis Hospital before retiring in 2002. She worshipped her Lord and served her church as a pastor's wife at Sonrise Community Church. She will always be remembered for her loves of playing the piano and singing. She began a long ministry of visiting nursing homes in 1982 and from that beginning, the Glory River Singers was formed in 1986 and they continue to sing and play at nursing homes in the area every week.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of over 45 years, whom she married on April 26, 1963 at the Duck Creek Church in Liberty Mounds. She is also survived by one son and wife; one daughter and husband; three sisters; brother-in-law; five grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Jeanie Judkins and four brothers-in-law; Ray Davis, Bob Davis, Ray Rush and Jim Ennis.
