Florence Armitage Briggs, 68, 1025 E. 27th South, died March 7, 1976, in a Salt Lake hospital of heart failure.
Born July 20, 1907, Provo, to James and Clara Settle Armitage. Married Dennis Fielding Briggs Oct. 15, 1929, Salt Lake City. Member LDS Church. Active in PTA. Former chairman, American Heart Fund.
Survivors: husband; son, Dennis Brent, Salt Lake City; 2 grandchildren.
Funeral Wednesday 2 p.m., Highland Park South LDS Ward Chapel, 2535 Douglas St. Friends call Tuesday 6-8 p.m., 5850-9th East, hour before service Wecdnesday at ward chapel. **Burial Redwood Memorial Estates.
