Leonard wanted to be a Farmer like his forefathers .Everyone always visited the Farm in Lake Anne and Leonard was no exception.Leonard decided to be a Farmer and owned 200 head of cattle but it did not work out. He sold the Farm and moved to Musegon on a few acres of Land . leonard started a Goat Farm which was cut short due to An over expensive Goat that had a cake in the bag which made it useeless .
HE then ventured forward to make a Raspberry Farm and eventually sold them on the Market all the while he was welding for West Michigan Steel and his farm day and night.
He passed the U.S. Navy Werlders test most Welders could not pass and taught other workers the trick,"Take a V steel half block, weld it into a square and then cut it in half with no slag .
Leonard was active in Boy Scouts along with his sons.He bought films of Scouts interest and projected them on a screen for all to see since he was highly interested in Photograph ,films and appeasing his wife to be more interested in his sons. To be continued at a later date.

Margaret Anne divorced Leonard abt 1962 and neither remarried.
